As part of my homeschooling I read Brave New World and was completely fascinated with the similarities and differences between today and the book. So, I just read an article about these farmers in Nevada, who were forced to pour BLEACH all over their crops by officials. I am utterly shocked. The officials wouldn't even let the private citizens eat the food. Anyway, it freaks me out how controlled our food really is and it freaks me out how similar today is to Brave New World. Shocking right? Oh and the lady in the beginning of the video! How mean! Anyway, it's just weird and shocking that all that food went to waste when thousands of children are starving across the world....What do you think?
